Final Curtain Part 1

We are nearing the end of May and Season Finales are popping up left and right to some of our favorite shows. We tip our hats and look forward to the future of next season, but not all of our shows will be joining us next year. Here are some of the shows that Laura and I both enjoy, and the fate that awaits it next year :

Lost- Season 3 is wrapping up with a 2 hour Finale next Wednesday, May 23rd. Lost has been renewed for 3 more seasons expecting to end sometime in 2010. To my knowledge this is one of the only times if not the only time that a show has been given an actual set in stone ending date. Should allow the writers to finally resolve many of the mysteries that have kept us glued to this ever intriguing series!

Jericho- The season finale ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger, but sadly Jericho has been removed from the map for next season and canceled.

Smallville- Ended on a cliffhanger, but has been renewed for a 7th season. Hopefully the final season. I love this show, but it's really starting to run it's course.

Supernatural- Tied up most of it's loose ends, but has been renewed for a 3rd and suspected Final Season.

Ghost Whisperer- We missed the Season Finale, but Melinda will be back for a 3rd Season.

Heroes- Season Finale is airing Monday May, 21st. Heroes has been renewed for a Second Season

24
- Jack's 6th Day is coming to a close Monday May 18th. He will be returning for a 7th day and 2 Hour Feature movie in the near future.

Trilogy Fever!!!!

Trilogy fever seems to be hitting the month of May. We have Spider Man 3, Shrek The Third and Pirates 3 all coming out within a week or two of each other.

Spider Man 3 was a bit of a letdown after the amazing *no pun intended* Spiderman 1 and 2. It felt like they tried to cram too much into the final picture to resolve all of the plot-lines. Not a bad movie by any means, but it didn't leave me with the same giddy awe that I felt after leaving the theater for the previous installments.

A new Blizzard game is coming!

Anyone who frequents the World of Warcraft/Blizzard website should know that Blizzard has been building up a countdown for a new game to be announced this weekend. There is much speculation as to what new title this will be, here are the most popular theories.

Diablo 3
Warcraft 4
Starcraft 2
Some form of Starcraft MMO

With a little bit of creative web clicking you learn that Diablo3.com and Warcraft4.com are both owned by web squatters, but www.starcraft2.com redirects you to the Blizzard website. Interesting huh?

More news to follow as the new title is announced!
